Cynthia Newson
Project Coordinator
Cynthia Newson is project coordinator for the NSF ITEST Learning Resource Center. She began her journey at EDC in 1989 working with the Women's Educational Equity Act (WEEA). WEEA, a project of EDC for more than 25 years, brought support and resources to the many exceptional efforts to improve the education of girls and women in the United States. Ms. Newson left EDC in 1993 to consult in publishing and spend time with her family. She returned to EDC in 1998, to work with the WEEA project again. When WEEA ended in 2003, she joined the ITEST LRC.
