Sophia Mansori
Research Associate
Sophia Mansori is a member of the America Connects Consortium (ACC). In her work for ACC, she provides technical assistance to community technology centers around the country, particularly in the areas of integrating technology into education, program development, evaluation and partnerships. She managed the AT&T-funded Young Leaders Program, which recognized high school students who demonstrate leadership through their community technology centers. Sophia has also provided technical assistance to housing-based community technology centers through the Neighborhood Networks program. Before joining EDC, Sophia managed national programs and partnerships for Tech Corps, a nonprofit organization working to improve the use of technology in K–12 education through volunteers and corporate partnerships. At Tech Corps she assisted with the design and implementation of a number of teacher and technology coordinator training programs. Sophia began here career working in the hi-tech industry as a product manager and trainer. She earned her Masters in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
